In this day of hustle and bustle, it is rare to find a sanctuary away from it all, but at The Senator’s Inn, a sanctuary is precisely what we aim to provide. The relaxing atmosphere is continually lauded by many guests as one of the most tranquil places they have ever been. It has often been described as “homey.” The expansive mansion, built in 1915 and once inhabited by Senator Henry M. Dunlap, is home with guest rooms available for 90 days or longer; as some guests have put it, “I’m here to stay.” Whether you are here for business or pleasure, The Senator’s Inn is a unique, inviting solution to both your accommodation woes and troubles of other kinds. We are located less than five minutes’ drive from the University of Illinois and Willard Airport.
The sprawling, 25-room house has rooms dedicated to long term living and others dedicated to our service providers. The third floor, (also known as The Senator's Retreat) has been host to many long-term stay guests from all over the world, as it offers spacious accommodations including two bedrooms (one with a Jacuzzi), a full bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, large living room (complete with additional sleeping options) and a private entrance at the rear of the house.
